Do we need ecash, mints and all the other custodial services if we now have Bolt12?
The main added value with ecash was increased privacy; Bolt12 seems to do the same, so what's the point?

Given the current discussions on soft-forks and lack of leadership in Core devs – primarily propelled by the argument that it will much harder to do it down the road when tradfi solidifies itself in blockchain – the only viable answer that is to preach:
Run your own node
Verify your own TXs
Run a lightning node
Manage your channels
Run a bitaxe
Work towards enhancing decentralization; fuck the states and their cronies in WS. Bitcoin's essence is against them and we can't sell it out because "ehm, we need funds".
