Ok so I had to use google to find an answer about relays and connect to a site that lists some. Deleted some inactive ones from my network settings and tried to add in a few new ones with no luck as the hot pink button is not working for some reason and won’t let me.. could this be any more cryptic? It’s no wonder peeps are not joining #Nostr in droves like #bluesky IF having those you follow show up in your feed does not work then unless you are dev or UX designer— who would try to even figure it out?? I joined blue sky a while back and even though I had no conversations at least I could see the feeds of those I followed! Why is there no text copy on the network page to tell you what to do and WHY? Clearly no UX designers were used to assist newbies with on-boarding! After a couple of weeks it is clear that whether you are connected to a good relay or not makes all the difference - and yet I remember @rabble saying in one of the numerous #Nostringa videos I watched that relays were not an issue… so I did not focus my attention there… 😂🤣 #askNostr #relays #UXdesign

Good morning! One week on #Nostr and the level of engagement for me as a long time X user is awesome! 🙏 to all Nostr devs. My only problem is with the fact that those that I follow are not being “noted” in my profile so I look 👀 anti social and have no “feed” which is really #badUX” Please clarify as to what relay I need to follow to achieve this function #AskNostr as it severely limits the experience. As a UX designer I can find workarounds but for other new users this would be deadly!
