During the past few days, I’ve been working on setting up a new Nostr relay using relay.tools and experimenting with its features. The address for the relay is https://magic.nostr1.com/, and the relay itself is wss://TheForest.nostr1.com. (If you’d like to join this relay, the fee is just 1 sat.) One key benefit of using relay.tools is that there is no need to worry about finding a cloud hosting service or a registrar—it’s all taken care of. The only requirement is 12K sats per month. The setup process is straightforward and includes options to choose between public or private relays and configure details like mute lists, muted words, and more.
