To disable the esp4 module in Linux to mitigate the Dirty Frag vulnerability (CVE-2026-43284), run the following command to prevent it from loading: echo 'install esp4 /bin/false' | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/dirtyfrag.conf. Follow this by unloading it with sudo rmmod esp4 and rebooting the system. Warning: This breaks IPsec VPN tunnels
