Pakistan: "My name is Hoorab and live in Christian Town, Jaranwala. am a mother of nine children. On the morning of August 16, we received alarming news of a blasphemy allegation against members of our community. "An enraged mob gathered near us in response to this news. Fearing for the safety of my children, I made the agonizing decision to leave our home and flee to safety. We waited two days before eventually returning home. Finally, mustered the courage to see what remained. "When arrived, my heart sank. Our entire house was burned to ashes. All our belongings, furniture, and cherished memories were gone. I felt such deep despair and helplessness.... "A local aid team visited and listened as we recounted our terrifying experience. A few days later, we received a relief package with food, household items, cash, and even school materials and toys for my children ... We now have hope for our future." Prayer: "God, cloak Hoorab and her nine children in Your peace that surpasses understanding. We pray this fraught time will yield miraculous provision, that their faith in You might be strengthened forevermore. Guide their steps and help them to rebuild as a testimony to Your faithfulness. Amen." https://gcrelief.page.link/nmmxAcMfmh3ixP816

"Azerbaijan, a Muslim country located north of lran, is blockading the primary supply road into Nagorno-Karabakh, a disputed territory nearby. The blockade has one simple purpose: to cause human suffering. "You see, Nagorno-Karabakh is a majority-Christian region and it's currently home to many Armenian believers. With the blockade in place, an estimated 120,000 people have been left in an extremely dire situation. Armenian Christians are currently being deprived of food, medical supplies and other essentials. Natural gas has been cut off and other energy needs remain spotty at best. "Today, Armenian Christians in Nagorno-Karabakh face a terrible choice: leave the disputed territory, or starve. "They're working to make it unlivable so the Armenian-Christian population is forced to leave," reports Sam Brownback, a former US Ambassador.... "God, we ask for this blockade to cease immediately, in the name of Jesus. Lord, do not let evildoers cause Your people to be displaced or go hungry. We declare Deuteronomy 20:4 over this situation: 'For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory'" https://gcrelief.page.link/JMwP5381UpGJvA819

Why was there a small fire separated from the bigger fire? Does this indicate these were arson? Not global warming fires, but imminent domain fires.

We have several bases and 1000 trips in Niger. The chief of US African command told Congress this year that our presence was minimal. Niger's new government is going to kick us out. The empire is over. These people in Washington are so hubristic that they can't see the writing on the wall. We need to start auctioning off foreign bases to pay off our debts. "Know when to hold 'em. Know when to fold 'em. Know when to walk away..."

"A married couple linked to the Indonesian terrorist group Jamaah Ansharut Daulah detonateda bomb as they drove through the church's gate. Thankfully, although more than a dozen were wounded, no church-goers were killed in the attack. "Valeri suffered various degrees of burns and went through several rounds of surgeries in the following days. Along with part of her face, both of Valeri's arms were severely burned. The injury impeded her fingers' mobility, especially on her right hand, to where even clenching her fists provided to be difficult. But Valeri remains optimistic, saying, "Thank God am left-handed. "Valeri remains grateful, despite having endured so much pain. She has tried several surgeries, including skin grafts, but none have worked out as well as hoped. From a trying recovery, limited help offered by the government, to her impaired eyesight, the journey has certainly not been easy. "Yet, the attack has not deterred her from going to church every week. During Holy Week in 2022, she returned to Makassar Cathedral Church to attend the same Palm Sunday mass. The priest was surprised to spot her and asked her why she was there. She told him, feel peace in my heart." The tragedy has not scarred her spirit. "Valeri has endured much hardship and has been left with scars to remind her daily, but her faith shines through. They are a testament of her belief in God as she continues to share about God's grace in her life with others. We're also happy to report Valeri has taken an internship at a hospital where she received care." https://gcrelief.page.link/xZvMKBmTJCjaJX7w9

"In areas where there is high cartel influence, the communities feel the detrimental impact. Bishop Rubén saw the fear in his community and demanded the cartels leave. His choice almost cost him his life. "Cartels arrived at Bishop Rubén's doorstep and commanded him to stop his message. His community heard about the cartel's interference and many became afraid to even attend church. "David Curry, President and CEO of Global Christian Relief, says, "The situation for followers of Jesus [in Colombia] is deteriorating very rapidly, especially in the countryside. For example, Christian farmers in Colombia who refuse to grow the coca leaf face some of the most intense persecution in the world-death by drug cartel." https://gcrelief.page.link/K1TAdyHK2tR7j8416

Pray for believers in Egypt https://gcrelief.page.link/inYbfc1yth4EB1tM6 "Mostafa started reading the book of John in a Bible app on his phone. "I began to delve deeper into the Bible and question everything knew. found that the verses of the Bible encourage love and tolerance. God, as described in the Bible, is a God of great love and mercy." "After reading the Bible, he discovered it wasn't distorted. He was also surprised that Jesus spoke with so much authority; He even accepted and forgave people regardless of their socioeconomic status. "Mostafa describes what happened to him next: felt in my heart that the words of the Bible were true. I tearfully prayed that God would change me, open my eyes and fill my heart with His love and peace.... "Lord Jesus, we ask You to comfort and strengthen Mostafa. Give him boldness and wisdom to share the gospel. Touch the hearts and open the eyes of all the Muslims and unsaved in Egypt. Bring them to salvation and produce a great harvest. In Jesus' name. Amen."
