Release 0.8.0 – Shakshuka with Feta & Fresh Herbs is out! This release is warm, social, and full of interaction. Just like sharing a pan of shakshuka with friends. Spiced tomatoes, gently cooked eggs, topped with creamy feta and herbs. A dish that brings people together. Version 0.8.0 does the same with social features, following, commenting, and re-bookmarking now on the table. 🌟 What’s New? ✔️ Re-bookmark Someone Else’s Bookmark You can now click the bookmark icon on an existing bookmark to save it as your own. The new bookmark will include a reference to the original profile that shared it. ✔️ Filter by People You Follow When you're signed in, the homepage will now default to showing bookmarks from profiles you follow. You can still switch back to the global feed at any time. ✔️ Follow and Unfollow Profiles You can now follow or unfollow someone directly from their profile. This works within the Nostr ecosystem, so your connections go beyond Yumyume itself. ✔️ Commenting is Live You can now add comments to bookmarks. This is the start of more interactive bookmarking. 🛠️ Fixes and Improvements - The bookmarklet now prevents bookmarking something you already saved - It also uses OpenGraph title and description when available, with a fallback to HTML title and meta description - The tag cloud now reflects the last 7 days of bookmarks instead of 30 days to improve responsiveness. We're exploring ways to bring back 30 days without slowing things down This Shakshuka with Feta & Fresh Herbs release is lively, flavorful, and made for sharing. What do you think of this new flavor of Yumyume? Let us know! 🍳🧀🌿 🚀 Try it now and start bookmarking, following, and commenting with ease.

New release of Yumyume! 0.6.0 - Biryani with Pickled Onion & Raita . This release is flavorful, vibrant, and full of depth. Just like a good Biryani. With its layers of spice, color, and texture, Version 0.6.0 brings a visual and functional upgrade to Yumyume. And yes, there’s a hint of tangy pickled onion and cool raita to balance things out. 🌟 What’s New? ✔️ 🎨 Optimized & Interactive Tag Cloud The tag cloud is now fully visualized with tag density and colors. - Hover over a tag to see how many times it’s been used - Click a tag to filter bookmarks by topic - You can even filter tags via the URL like: 👉 https://yumyume.me/?tag=nostr&tag=bitcoin . Works globally and in profile views too! Search box coming soon. ✔️ ⏱️ Bookmark Cards Now Ordered by Publishing Time We’ve updated the global feed to sort and display bookmarks based on their original publishing timestamp, rather than the last edit. ✔️ 🧾 Saving Client Info Yumyume now saves the client name ("Yumyume") in the background when publishing a bookmark. In the future, this will be visible on the bookmark detail page, so users can see where bookmarks came from. ✔️ 🐛 Bug Fixes & Thanks Several bugs have been resolved. Special thanks to @Ross & @fiatjaf for reporting them. 🚀 Try it now and explore the new tag-powered discovery!
