The word God is a failure of language, not one of description. It is a problem with trying to describe the ineffable in a word which pedants and atheists like try to tear down the definitions when language is simply failing them. A much smaller example of the word Earth. If I were to describe Earth as happy or solid or wet or barren, you could come up with a million examples of things that are considered Earth, but also not many of those things, while simultaneously providing evidence of each and every one of those. Earth is nearly inevitable with its multitude of descriptive factors. But given a long enough timeline, someone could describe Earth accurately. God is truly ineffable, indescribable, and every attempt to do so is a folly. This is why it becomes a fool's errand to try to describe something to someone that is incomprehensible. The only comparison i feel i can draw is using the context of Earth, one might say: Believers tend to describe the wonderful beautiful landscapes of the earth while the atheist describes the barren deserts. While maybe not realizing they're describing the same thing when referring to God.
