Hoch die anarchie. I do stuff, I make stuff, I am funny, but also, the CTO at Sovreign.io
In case you were wondering who the good guys are: image Why are devs always like this? Jurassic Park over and over again. "Too busy wondering whether or not they could, but never stopped to think if they should."
ItsHappening.RonPaul.gif Toma at Panhandle Apothecary used their Square Terminal to take Bitcoin. Toma had no clue what Bitcoin was when I walked in but as soon as I told her she could just select it as a payment option, and saw how quick and easy it was. She seemed impressed enough to take a picture with me. Now I have some delicious aged english cheddar. If you are in the Berkeley Springs area, stop in and tell them Jack sent you.
Open source devs: When someone submits a bug fix request, it's probably not the best response to say: "It's open source so, you can help build it too!" Nah, that's a response for a feature request. A bug is something that you said works on your application and the user is telling you it is not working. It doesn't take a person proficient in coding to realize when a purported feature does not work correctly and thus the responsibility should not be passed to them. I get it that the pointing out of flaws is never anyone's favorite activity. But these people are taking their precious time and giving you feedback on your program. Thanks.
The word God is a failure of language, not one of description. It is a problem with trying to describe the ineffable in a word which pedants and atheists like try to tear down the definitions when language is simply failing them. A much smaller example of the word Earth. If I were to describe Earth as happy or solid or wet or barren, you could come up with a million examples of things that are considered Earth, but also not many of those things, while simultaneously providing evidence of each and every one of those. Earth is nearly inevitable with its multitude of descriptive factors. But given a long enough timeline, someone could describe Earth accurately. God is truly ineffable, indescribable, and every attempt to do so is a folly. This is why it becomes a fool's errand to try to describe something to someone that is incomprehensible. The only comparison i feel i can draw is using the context of Earth, one might say: Believers tend to describe the wonderful beautiful landscapes of the earth while the atheist describes the barren deserts. While maybe not realizing they're describing the same thing when referring to God.
