All right, my muñaños gamers… Yes, tonight’s stream is cancelled, and I’m putting live streaming on a temporary hiatus. In reality, it’s not burnout, nor is it another life‑balancing issue at home. The part that does fall under life‑balancing is that things at work are still extremely demanding, and that won’t ease up until at least after summer. But the main reason is actually the content. I’m enjoying the retro gaming sessions — and while Hitman: Codename 47 definitely tests my patience, I still like the game — but I can’t fool myself into thinking it’s having the impact across my channels that I expected. There was a time when I had the mentality of “I play regardless of metrics or discoverability,” but the last few sessions have had disappointing numbers, and I have to admit that. It’s not something you want to see when you’re putting in the time and effort while also holding a full‑time job that’s been mentally draining for the last year and a half, especially after proving that I’m a valuable asset to my team. In contrast, I’ve been thinking about doing a Gaming News–only session without gameplay. Last Monday, I felt extremely comfortable during the chatting portion, and that will probably be the next step once I’m ready again.
