1 ish week #linux update: still no major screen tearing or stuttering on my nvidia + hyprland arch install. I'm only noticing slight stuttering on old games like left 4 dead 2 and arma 2 also with RPCS3 games (mostly dark souls 2) CS2 only stutters after prolonged gaming. so far it's been a much better experience than what I was expecting with nvidia + wayland.

A rant: I'm getting sick of cops. I could've bought a surrron but I said "no ill buy a lamer bike that's actually ebike compliant and legal" just to get treated like I'm still on a surron. even after I prove how legal it is in court I just know I'm still going to get pulled over and issued hundreds of dollars in tickets from cops enforcing laws they don't understand and have to go through the slow ass court system again and again. last time they gave me a court date 2 years in the future which I finally have to go to next month.
