The UN report, entitled "Anatomy of a Genocide", says Israel has violated three of the five acts listed in the UN Genocide Convention. Israel is on the UN's “black list” of countries and organizations that harm children. On the so-called “list of shame”, Israel is listed alongside “terrorist groups” such as Daesh/ISIS, al-Qaida and Boko Haram. The UN’s international court of justice (ICJ) has ordered Israel to end its occupation of the Palestinian territories “as rapidly as possible”.

#Gaza #Palestine University of Melbourn student group Unimelb for Palestine referred the university to the International Criminal Court for its alleged complicity in the war on Gaza. Over the last year, students say they have collected evidence of the university's partnerships with weapons companies that are supplying Israel, and they say their concerns of the university’s alleged complicity in Israel’s war crimes have been ignored. ✡️ 🇵🇸 ☮️

#Gaza #Palestine Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen on Monday accused the United Nations' UNIFIL peacekeepers in south Lebanon of being a useless force that failed to protect Israeli citizens from Hezbollah attacks and called on it to withdraw as fighting ramps up. #Gaza #Palestine The United States will send a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense battery and troops to Israel, the Pentagon said Sunday, even as Iran warned Washington to keep American military forces out of Israel. Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin authorized the deployment of the THAAD battery at the direction of President Joe Biden.

#Gaza #Palestine The US is said to have expressed concern to Israel after reports that its troops fired on UN peacekeeper positions in Lebanon. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reportedly told Defence Minister Yoav Gallant in a call on Saturday that the UN’s peacekeeping forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) must not be targeted. Forty nations who contributed troops to UNIFIL have also signed a joint statement calling for the protection of peacekeepers in Lebanon. ✡️ 🇵🇸 ☮️
