Closed a Starling bank account today because they wouldn't authorise a new device without video ID and cut off the old one with no warning. Ironically the explanation given for updating(out dating?) the app was to improve customer experience 🤔 Next up: Revolut. They sent a notification for new documents, ignored so far. Why hassle your customers like this? I gave ID when I opened the account and I'm still the same person. Yearly kyc on a UK bank account becoming the norm now?
