Today, we’re happy to announce we’re launching the Proton Drive app for Mac! 🎉 We’re hitting this significant milestone, thanks to our community members who gave us feedback for the Mac OS beta. #ProtonDrive is now available on #iPhone, #Android, #Windows, the web, and now #Mac. Download it here: image
What’s the cybersecurity practice you find the hardest to follow?
📎 Attachment previews are now visible in #ProtonMail’s message list on the web app. You can quickly find the document you need and preview it without opening its email. Check it out and let us know what you think: mail.proton.me image
There's a difference between proactively violating user privacy and following court orders in criminal cases. All companies (Proton included) have to follow court orders, but it has been proven multiple times in court that Proton's encryption cannot be bypassed. Proton however can't provide anonymity unless the user has proper infosec (like using Tor or VPN).
We thought Google hit rock bottom with #privacy. Its new beta feature on Google Files for #Android called “Smart Search" is the trap door. This creepy new feature on by default & scans every file on your phone. Why is this bad? Because it could potentially ruin your life. (1/3) image
If you are using #ProtonPass, we have some news for you: 🔗 Vault & password sharing is planned for later this year. 🌐 🖥️ In addition to the existing browser extensions and mobile apps, we are developing the web and desktop apps too. The web app is already in the works. Find the entire Proton Pass roadmap here: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-2023.
