There are only two sides to almost any bitcoin debate. Thouse that increase the chance of a chain split, and those that decrease the chance of a chain split. To defend bitcoin, be in the second group. Many who think they are 'helping' bitcoin are in the first. Win them over.

The pubkey is the domain. An idea whose time has come. Note: you can already do this with did-nostr. I do it all the time. But if you want bittorrent style censorship-resistance, use #pubky too! View quoted note →

did-nostr is like a layer 2 for nostr, it can be useful for many things: - Global discovery without relying on central servers. - No need for DNS or other trusted naming systems. - Discovery relays make finding people and data more flexible. - Profiles can stay consistent across apps and relays. - Personal storage can be linked directly to your identity. - Easy integration with pubky and other nostr tools. - A path toward open standards for business and enterprise adoption. - Financial commitments possible via Taproot and Bitcoin. - Relay lists can travel with you, making switching easier. - Extensible to many use cases, pemissionless - Agentic nostr allows orchestration of agents - helps nostr scale better by reducing duplication. did-nostr is a simple building block that can help grow the network.
