I am pleased to report that "Beyond that darkness" 「その暗がりの先に」by Fuco Ueda has entered the collection! This was painted in 2023 with dimensions 70×120cm, depth 4cm, acrylic and shell white on canvas. After a few weeks of discussions with Fuco exploring what was possible, I learned that several larger paintings were available. It took a long time to figure out that while the painting I initially wanted checked all the boxes, it was actually this painting that best fit the theme or style of my collection. I am excited to be supporting Fuco's work and I hope that this is the beginning of a larger series of acquisitions.

I’ve been in contact with the Japanese artist Fuco Ueda to discuss starting a collection of her original paintings. For whatever reason I was neglecting her work for many years so I’m trying to rectify that now.
