One more week until the half marathon. I may be mentally broken while hurting myself, but I still have shit to get done!

Was almost about to repurpose this old pc as a living room console, but I remember how weak these specs are for 4K60FPS gaming. 1080 could be as far as it can go. Or I could play this on a CRT monitor. I'm going to have to benchmark this and see how good this still is another time. Otherwise, I'll sell it off.

I keep holding off of this little project I was suggested to do for one of our cryptocurrency meetups a few months back. I hope I can get this done by next month's First Tuesday meet, which usually hosts newbie topics within bitcoin and crypto. It talks about fiat assets compared to crypto, as well as compare the two financial systems. I'm balling with Arch on this laptop, and I used to hate this thing, until I switched out of windows. Yes, Brantford Boomer is our Canadian icon and part of our heritage in our current housing market. (made for educational/entertainment purposes)

I did my first solo trip to Calgary, mainly for Otafest. Most of the travelling I do is mostly visiting different anime conventions, and at the same time, I get to see my Vancouver friends. Last week was my third visit to Transcona. Being here during the evening was too good, I stayed past midnight, and I find this large hill by a skatepark and a school. Making a laptop I barely touch a fun activity by installing Arch Linux (btw). I got hooked the past week. (Also hyprland btw)

So I figured out how to use a passphrase wallet on my Coldcard while I ripped some dvds that were a part of my childhood, before I got rid of them for anybody on the street to pick up, since our city was having a Giveaway Weekend. Now I can feel more comfortable bringing my Q around just to show it off.

Aside from visiting Calgary for Otafest in a couple weeks, I think I'm ready to visit again for Bitcoin Rodeo in the end of June. The energy I get at home is always dehumanizing. I still have yet to get my film rolls back from when I was in Vancouver last time. Idk what's going on at the photo lab I gave them to.
