⚡️🎶🎤🎹🎸 This is what I have been sharing with all my normie friends. Zaps are a feature of Nostr, you can tip artists directly. The problem with credit card tips is that there’s a $0.10 transaction fee and a 3% charge, which means developers would take a loss on small payments of $0.05 online. With Bitcoin, you can now make direct micropayments because the fees are next to nothing. This allows independent artists to perform in public areas, bringing people out into the real world while earning dual income both online and in restaurants and recreational spaces. Thats not to mention tipping the staff and waitresses.
