I spotted this detail whilst walking around Old Basing where Oliver Cromwell led an army of men to siege Basing House. The nearby barn being pock-marked by the onslaught of cannon ball fire during the English Civil War of 1645.

Always take a lunchtime walk when you work remotely as I do. We live in a lovely area and excited to see some new pathways being constructed especially as this is a decent alternative to a dicey country lane where school run parents drive like they’re totally insane and wish to kill you.

Trying out Damus today for a little bit and getting to know the different clients, their idiosyncrasies, features and so on.
Photographing fireworks is never easy but I think some of the shots came out quite well.
