Visited the Greenham Common Cafe yesterday and what a fascinating place it was! Lovely coffee, cake and cream teas. Then we popped upstairs into the control tower, with a stunning view of the common. Thirty years ago, this was an airbase, with a runway and a number of bunkers containing nukes! What a contrast!

I’ve exceeded my target for Movember and still have time to add to it. So for those who don’t know, the goal is to walk, run, swim, cycle 60km in the month of November to raise awareness of the 60 men who take their own lives every month.

Playing with Logic Pro for iPad which has been updated to 2.1 this past week, loads of new features and I will dig a bit deeper into these- in the meantime, here is something I conjured up last week.

There is a pub just outside Pangbourne which is currently closed and appears to be undergoing a refurb, I suspect might have been caused by some bad floods we had either late last year or early this. Not long before that all happened I took this photograph as we ate there and had a very nice meal.
