A performance from last week using my iPad running loopy pro version 2. I’ve hooked up my Torso Instruments T1 as the main MIDI controller sending notes etc to the iPad on different channels. One synth and a drum machine. Nice and simple.
Was great to try out Camo Studio for the recording and the ability to add a Picture in Picture video of myself, streaming style.

Boat textures - wandering along the seafront yesterday at Hayling Island, spotting old boats and their textures. Great for photography. So kind of them to leave these old boats for us to take pictures of!

Our kids have a new kitten. Thankfully they have their own house and their own furniture. The granddaughters have called him Rhino and he’s definitely cute. Shy at the moment but I think he’s just taking it all in…. Then chaos!!!!!!!

The sunset the other night was incredible. Took this on my iPhone as we went for a walk and it did actually rain. A rare thing at the moment but I know damn well, autumn and winter will be a washout!

My wife and I recently looked after an allotment and the payment was in food. We harvested courgettes that became “courgetti” once we’d “spiralised” them into a vegetable based spaghetti, served up with bolognaise mince. The tomatoes here were added into this dish. I had seconds. It was so flavoursome.
Later on we gathered some strawberries which combined with yogurt made for a lovely breakfast.

This setup is bloody excellent by the way and I’ll be posting on @Wavlake soon.

The original photo was ruined by heavy reflections and I wanted a clean version. So I used ChatGPT - simply prompting to remove reflections and wow!
The photo was taken at Watercress line in Hampshire a couple of weekends ago.

I want to go and see this at Reading Biscuit Factory later in the year. Very much up my street.

The new Hexagon Studio is being built adjacent to the Hexagon Theatre in Reading, which will be great when it’s open.
The sheep are a bit strange around here! Seen here in Baaaahkshire!!

Saw a ghost in the window of this old house today. Freaked me out!

Not been on here for ages and hope you are all having fun!
Testing out a bridging app to post notes on Nostr and Hive at once. Which is rather cool!
Something I recorded a little while back on the old synths.
Blipvox is a new app for iPhone and Android that takes audio and concerts it into a waveform video. I recorded this one in Slovenia last week.
It finished building and gave me a report but the page is blank?
Running MKStack on my Astro build site and it’s doing magical things. Feel like a1980s computer wizard all over again!
The river Sǒca today, they call it the “Emerald River”. We traveled from Prijon and ended at Boca where there is a stunning waterfall. The rapids today were immense fun and some were a bit tricky to negotiate but you commit, paddle hard and make every stroke count. There are several of us on the trip and today only one capsize and needed to do a rescue. Ivet was laughing, she enjoyed filling in the icy cold river.
That’s the thing - the temperature outside is 30+ degrees but the water is probably 8-10 degrees, so the risk of cold water shock is genuine. Hop in deliberately though it’s refreshing to say in the least. The bottom of the boat stays cold and kept my cockpit cool all the way.
We saw plenty of trout today and Slavonian Grebe, might have been black-necked Grebe? Not sure. There was a mother and her chicks. Very cute.
