In Kamala Harris's new book she says Trump pardoned "fentanyl dealer Ross Ulbricht". Contrary to Kamala Harris's claim, Ross Ulbricht was not a fentanyl dealer, all he did was provide an open marketplace for people to transact safely in, protecting users from some of the dangers associated with black markets. Even if he had been, it makes Harris a hypocrite to advocate for bodily autonomy for women but then turn around and support the state telling people what they and can't put in their own bodies. I would also like to take this opportunity to remind people that Harris refused to release nonviolent drug offenders to relieve dangerous overcrowding in California prisons because she wanted them for slave labor. People were literally dying becaus&e they couldn't get basic medical care in those overcrowded conditions. The court ordered her to release some prisoners and she fought it. What a piece of shit, I hope her book doesn't sell any copies. #freeRoss #politics
I do not support violence of any kind except for self defense. Everybody is so concerned about "political violence" which is still incredibly rare in the United States. What isn't rare is the violence perpetrated by the agents of the state against innocent people every single day in this country for our entire lifetimes. Police officers, DEA, ICE, IRS, ATF, FBI, these are the violent ones. The sheer amount of unprovoked violence that has occured against innocent people by these scumbags is mind blowing. It's so much violence that it is difficult for the human brain to even process. So many deaths. So many permanent injuries. So many years spent in cages. Kidnapping, Extortion, Theft, Rape, Murder. Dead dogs. And if one fucking agent of the state gets a boo boo it is the end of the world. If they get killed, they are honored as fallen heroes as if they haven't spent their entire career inflicting harm on others in service of the ruling class. If you dare to defend yourself against these monsters you will feel the full wrath of a criminal organization with a monopoly on violence. If you even hurt one of their dogs....you are fucked. Does it matter that the dog was about to rip your genitals off with its teeth over $10 worth of weed? No of course not. Does it matter that they shoot our dogs if they even look at an officer sideways? Nope. Police dogs are ordained by the holy priests of the court as a higher form of life than you, a lowly citizen. So what do we do? Violence will never work against them, instead they need to be shunned, shamed, defunded, and ostracized from our communities until they no longer are willing to be an agent for the state. The social cost needs to be so high that no sane person would sign up. Don't sell them houses, don't rent to them, don't serve them food, don't let them attend your church, don't fix their cars, don't talk to them, don't date them, don't let your children near them. Same for their spouses or partners. (Leave their kids alone, they didn't pick who their parents are, but the spouse did pick who they married) These agents of the state are just regular people, regular people don't do well when they are completely outcasted from society. Most of them will give into the pressure eventually. What is the state without the agents to enforce their monopoly on violence? It becomes nothing more than some corrupt politicians waving around pieces of paper. Another way to stop them without violence is to stop using the dollar. If no one accepts the dollar, the state has nothing of value to pay its agents with. Unpaid agents of the state quickly become ex agents of the state. The violence of the state can be stopped without firing a single shot with these methods of nonviolent resistance while waving a sign or voting isn't going to do much of anything. You can have the largest protest movement ever, elect your candidates, and pass some good laws. Even if you manage to do all that by some miracle, it won't matter because it can all be destroyed by the next round of corrupt politicians. Years of effort can be undone with one vote and a signature. It will always be one step forward and two steps back as long as the state exists with a monopoly on violence. The centralized power itself is the problem, and changing the politicians doesn't fix that. It's just a question of whether enough people will wake up in time. They either need to wake up soon and realize the state is an evil organization that needs to be stopped, or they may wake up one day in a prison camp wishing they had done something while they were still free. TLDR: Stop using their money, defund them. Shame and ostracize their agents. #politics #news
Free Talk Live is a call in political radio talk show with a focus on voluntaryism. Skip to 0:47:45 for some great early Bitcoin history. Bitcoin was trading at $0.87 and the hosts are talking about the new killer app for BTC, the Silk Road. At the time of this broadcast the Silk Road had just 38 listings and ~150 users. Roger Ver would eventually convince the hosts to accept Bitcoin from him to help fund the show and they became early Bitcoin advocates, convincing local businesses in New Hampshire to accept it. Ian Freeman, one of the hosts, was sentenced to 8 years and is currently in Federal Prison for selling Bitcoin to consenting adults. #bitcoin #history #podcasts Listen to FTL2011-03-16 by Free Talk Live on #SoundCloud
Are you fucking kidding me? Now we got the AG talking about "hate speech" like it's illegal or something. Republicans trying to punish people for speech now. Are you beginning to realize they are all the same now? Notice how as soon as one party takes power they start doing some of the same shit the other party was doing when they had the power? The shit they promised they would never do? Over and over again. Both parties. Always lying. Always backtracking. No principles. They will say anything to regain the ring of power.
They want you to think your enemy is your neighbor and the battle that matters is between the left and right. This is to distract people from the true enemy, the entire ruling class. Both Democrats and Republicans will continue to oppress the people. Both will extract maximum value from the people to benefit themselves. It's a scam.
#asknostr Can someone explain relays to me, do I need to adjust my relays at all or should I just leave it set to the defaults that Amethyst chooses for me? Ad do I need to pay for a relay or is that not necessary?
One of the best things about living outside the system is I have no credit card debt. No student loans. No mortgage. No car loan. If I want to borrow money I have to put up collateral and borrow it from DeFi protocols. This protocols would liquidate me before my balance goes negative. No credit cards = no temptation No idea what my credit score is. Don't care. If I want something, I buy it outright, in cash. The only way I'm going to end up in debt is if I get hit with unexpected medical bills, as I am uninsured. Hoping to get rich before that happens🤑🤑🤞 If you are trying to live outside the system, a good solution to avoid getting into medical debt is traveling for treatments. For example a friend just went to India and is getting full dental implants with bone grafts and the whole nine yards, from a world class dentist, for a fraction of what it would cost in the United States. A few trips to India is saving him tens of thousands of dollars. There are ways around everything... Living outside the system is scary at first, but you adapt quickly. You don't have to go 100% at first, just dip a toe or two into the second realm. You might just like it. #agorism #medicine #debt #finance
The state is nothing more than a bunch of regular people who think they are better than you, and use their monopoly on violence to extract value from you through coercion.
You are way more likely to be killed by agents of the state than a mass shooter or terrorist.
The Feds are investigating WikiMedia over some Wikipedia edits they don't like. They want to know exactly who made the edits that weren't pro Israel. This is really none of the Fed's business and I hope WikiMedia refuses to hand over any information. If you are American and you talk about anything political online, you might want to make sure your social media and real identity aren't linked in any way. Things you publish now or in past can come back to bite you in the ass one day if shit gets bad enough. There are plenty of examples of this in history. Protecting your privacy could save you from ending up in prison, a camp, or getting debanked over saying the wrong thing. If you think the first amendment will protect you from this I got news for you, the constitution and the bill of rights have not protected us before, just look at how badly the 4th and 2nd amendment has been eviscerated over time. The first amendment is the next on up on the chopping block. Take steps to protect yourself NOW. If your doxxed...stop talking about politics. Make an anon account while it is still even possible. Take steps to avoid linking your anon and doxxed accounts. It might save your freedom one day. #privacy #freedomofspeech #news
You can get married at 15 in Mississippi but now you can't use social media there without age verification. Age verification is not about protecting children, I mean it's pretty fucking obvious that governments don't care about protecting children, they do more harm to children than anyone. This is about controlling the last bastion of freedom on planet Earth, the internet. This is why we need viable decentralized permissionless applications to replace these traditional apps as they become gated one by one. Building and supporting builders of these alternatives is more important now than ever. We are running out of time. #privacy
