Wtf is this bullshit I just want to send someone ten cents.

During the American Revolution even the most ignorant peasants understood that someone taking their money from them without their consent was unacceptable.
Now most people accept the state taking 40-60% of our money through taxation (add inflation and it gets worse) and using that money in ways we never consented to, such as funding wars and sending our money overseas. It also funds such wonderful things as illegal government surveillance, imprisoning people for having the wrong plants, and poisoning people with experimental vaccines.
The colonists revolted over a tiny tax by today's standards, meanwhile we are practically enslaved and we just roll over and let the state fuck us in the ass with no lube as they whisper some bullshit about a "social contract " that you are supposedly bound to based solely on where you were born.
You are not even allowed to exit this contract, if you leave the country you still have to pay taxes no matter where you reside. Only one other country (although a third will be soon, France I think) does this.
Take a moment and think about how fucked up it is that you have to work to fund evil instead of funding your own family.
Some idiot in the peanut gallery is going to say it's not enslavement because we elect representatives who then decide what the funds are used for.
To that I will say, the majority of those who actually vote pick representatives who never represent their actual interests and instead lie their faces off to get elected. After election they proceed to serve the interests of corporations and the ruling class. In a representational democracy, the minority and those who don't vote have no input, and most voting Americans are quite literally stupid thanks to the horrible indoctrination camps known as public schools. So when you subtract non voters you have a minority of the total population choosing corrupt politicians based on feels who then spend our money on evil.
There is no representation. It's all fake. It's a LARP designed to make you feel better about your enslavement. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

US citizens and non citizens alike are being randomly kidnapped off the street by masked thugs and scanned with facial recognition.
This is what a dystopia looks like.
In the Supreme Court case of Bad Elk v. United States, the court made it clear that it was lawful to use force to resist an illegal arrest.
Putting on a uniform doesn't give you the right to randomly kidnap people off the street based solely on the color of their skin.
It probably wouldn't be a good idea, but it would be lawful to resist an illegal arrest by ICE agents with force.
So when does a detention cross the line into an "arrest"?
When it is prolonged, when a reasonable person would not feel free to go, when handcuffs or restraints are used.
So when they snag a citizen with no evidence of a crime, put them in cuffs, and drive them to a different location before scanning their face, that feels like an arrest regardless of whether the citizen is released after the scan or not.
If you are going by the actual law, and we know how much ICE and their supporters love talking about the law as if it is sacred, then it would be entirely legal to resist these illegal kidnappings with force.
Unfortunately, the reality is the ruling class and their thugs don't actually respect the law, so resisting with force will probably end quite badly for the kidnapping victim. Best case they win at trial after a long and expensive ordeal. That would be a miracle because almost noone wins at trial in the Federal court system, which is just proof the entire Federal "justice" system is a Kafkaesque joke rigged against defendants in favor of the state.
Now the final question is, if your rulers don't respect their own laws, why should you?
The state represents an existential threat to humanity.
The number of times nuclear war has already almost occured as a direct result of state action is disturbing.
The state's main mechanism of control is money. They can close or freeze your bank account at any time if they don't like you or your speech.
As more people realize this and exit their financial system, the power they have over us decreases greatly.
Opt out. Use cash, Monero, Bitcoin, bartering, and gold. Develop or join circular economies within your local community. Buy your food directly from farmers not corporations.
Countereconomics has more power to resist tyranny than trying to resist within the system with elections, ballot initiatives, petitions, and protests.
There is no more time, the exits are closing, you need to get any wealth you do have outside of the system now and not later.
Follow me and subscribe to my newsletter to learn all about opting out and protecting yourself and your loved ones from the technocratic surveillance state.

Thought Crime Trap House. Opt out of the system and find the latest in privacy and crypto news & commentary from a voluntaryist perspective.
I live my life almost entirely outside of the system with the goal of interacting with the state and it's thugs as little as possible.
-No drivers license/car (most encounters with the state occur during traffic stops)
-No plane travel or border crossings (this sucks)
-No bank account
-Self employed
-No Facebook or any social media under my real name
-No property in my name
-Cash and crypto for most transactions, prepaid debit cards for a few
-No insurance in my name
-No bills of any kind in my name
There are some disadvantages to this kind of lifestyle, it's not for everyone (although the more of us that opt out the easier it gets for others to do so) but it is incredibly liberating.
Opting out is the closest you can get to true freedom within our enslaved society. We need to build alternative systems and communities outside of the system to make opting out easier for people. No one should have to live as a slave if they don't want to.
On Saturday morning, someone posing as a delivery worker broke into a San Francisco home, tied up the homeowner, and stole 11 million in crypto.
I don't think American crypto holders are ready for what's coming in terms of targeted theft/kidnapping/extortion using personal data leaked by both users themselves and companies with poor data handling (*cough coinbase *cough).
You got people STILL posting shit like what city you live in, what car you drive, stuff about your kids, when you are on vacation, etc.
Even little details can get you fucked.
That's fine if you have say, less than 10k in crypto on transparent chains, you might be ok.
Anything more than 10k is quite attractive for gangs of semi computer savvy youngins with no moral compass and no money to speak of. Especially with the economy going down the toilet and AI fixin' to drain all the job openings.
Just don't be surprised if you ever find yourself getting your ass beat until you give up your keys.
It has already started to happen in America and it's only going to get worse.
It's never too late to start protecting yourself. Storing your wealth on privacy chains such as Monero or shielded Zcash where a rando with a block explorer can't track down your balances is a good start.
Tax loss harvesting might be a good opportunity to rearrange your funds to be more private. Say you are underwater on an asset in a wallet linked to your name in some way. Sell the asset, write the loss off of your taxes, then redeploy the cash in a non kyced wallet by purchasing crypto p2p.
Criminals will just see that you once had crypto, and you sold it. They aren't interested in your bank account $$$, they want crypto that can be sent out of your wallet and can't be clawed back.
Something to think about. NFA

An armed robber posing as a delivery worker invaded a San Francisco home, tied up the homeowner, and took the victim’s cellphone, laptop, and $11...
The Supreme Court has ruled that tracking you via cellphone location requires a warrant. No such restriction exists for tracking via automated license plate readers. Law enforcement can get this data from Flock Safety's massive surveillance network, and if you audit these LE requests, the reasons given for needing to track a particular license plate include such important things as "lalala" or "asdf". They don't need an actual legitimate reason, they can put whatever they want on the data request form. The places you drive to can reveal a detailed picture of your life. There have already been instances of cops misusing this data for non law enforcement reasons, and it is incredibly dangerous to allow them to access this kind of information on any citizen at any time for any reason.
This new surveillance network should not be tolerated by the American people. It is nobody's business where you go throughout the day, and I would love to see some kind of anti license plate movement go viral. Imagine if even a third of people just ripped their license plates off or covered them with mud. There isn't enough cops to pull over that many people for driving without a visible license plate number. The people could instantly destroy the power of this Flock Safety surveillance network, but it would only work if enough people were willing to do it.
Would you be willing to obscure your license plate if you knew others would do the same? Do you have the guts to stand up to this mass surveillance? Or should we just roll over and continue to let America grow more dystopian with every passing day? Now is the time to resist, not when it gets even worse and any dissent is immediately crushed by armed drones reading your brain waves (that's not even a joke any more, mind reading tech is gaining more accuracy every day).
You have a right to keep your personal life private, but it's a right you are probably going to have to fight for. We can bitch about this government overreach all day, but unless we are actually willing to do something about it, nothing will get better and it will only get worse.
We all need to opt the fuck out and throw our license plates in the garbage. Make it a Tik Tok challenge or something, make it viral. How do we make people care enough about this to commit a small act of civil disobedience?

Anytime you move to a new house, apartment, or van down by the river, it is a golden opportunity for a privacy reset.
Tell no one other than trusted friends and family your new address. Don't get anything shipped to your new address under your real name. Don't update your address with any services or businesses unless absolutely necessary, if you do need to share your new address with a service, consider making an entirely new account under an alias.
If you want to go all out, don't put the utilities/internet under your name. If you are considering a move, think about using a trust to rent or buy the property.
Route all internet access at new address through a VPN, proxy, or TOR. Be wary of what devices you bring to the new address.
The goal here is to have as few links between your real identity and your new home as possible, this can protect you from things like five dollar wrench attacks.
It's much easier to keep an address private if you start from day one at your new residence than it is to try to work backwards and protect information that has already been leaked.

Federal prosecutors are seeking the maximum sentence for the Samourai devs this week.
Pro-crypto administration my asshole. This case should of been dropped on Trump's first week.
The only part of crypto the Trump administration cares about is the part that makes his family and companies money. He can still make money off of a highly regulated, centralized, and surveilled crypto industry in which anyone actually developing real freedom tech is thrown into a prison cell. That's why CZ got a pardon while the Samourai devs might be getting 5 years in a cage.
Fuck that. Yes it could of been much worse, but ANY amount of prison time for the fabricated "crimes" that they are accusing the Samourai devs of is not acceptable.
This is not what happens in a "free" country. Freedom to transact privately is a fundamental right and if the state is infringing upon that right, they are the criminals, not the software developers who are trying to enable private transactions.

I think Bitcoin has a serious risk of being destroyed from within by hubris. Bitcoin represents the majority of portfolio, and every single time over multiple cycles that I began to doubt it, it slaps me upside the head and reminds me who is the boss. After so many times of that happening, you began to assume that Bitcoin will always go up no matter what, that it is unstoppable. The cult of maximalism reenforces this bias wholeheartedly. Why would you ever sell?
That's exactly why I am so worried. Everyone in Bitcoin assumes it will always be number 1 simply because it has always been number 1.
That is dangerous thinking. Keeping Bitcoin as number 1 will take work, not ossification. You can't have a community that is scared of changing a single line of code and expect to stay on top. Don't forget that Bitcoin, at the end of the day, is software. Software adapts and changes or it becomes obsolete.
Bitcoin has the best change of replacing the extractive and flawed fiat monetary system, but only if the community doesn't fuck it up....
I will continue to stack sats, but the Bitcoin community needs to do some serious soul searching and remember why we are here in the first place.

If your DNA has not made it's way into a state database like the rapidly growing CODIS, AND you haven't ever sent your DNA to one of those stupid ancestry honeypots like 23&Me, then you need to hold on to your non compromised status for dear life.
Do whatever you can to keep it from getting into these databases. DNA is the most dangerous information of all for a state to have, because you can never change it.
You can technically alter your fingerprints, face, and even rip your own eyeballs out I suppose. But DNA? You're cooked.
Who knows what the state will be doing with that kind of information in 10 years, 20 years?
Keeping your DNA to yourself might be the difference between living and dying, or freedom and slavery.
One way to do this is try to avoid felony arrests at all costs, because innocent until proven guilty isn't really a thing anymore and they can force you to give a DNA sample after any felony arrest in most states in the USA. Doesn't even matter if your alleged crime had a victim or not.
And for the love of God don't send your DNA in to a tech start up.
Happy Halloween!

Opt out, escape the surveillance state, and live free with me outside of the system.
Every time you make a purchase or sale of goods or services with Monero, you are committing an act of nonviolent civil disobedience. By opting out and using your economic power within the second realm rather than using fiat currency within the servile society, your transaction becomes an act of resistance against slavery and surveillance.
You can also opt out of the system with Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies, but without the privacy that is baked into Monero's base layer, you aren't protecting yourself from surveillance when you do so.
By buying and selling goods and services within our community using tools such as XMR Bazaar you are helping strengthen the entire community by keeping that economic power within our circular economy. The more we do this, we become more powerful as a group instead of wasting our economic power on feeding the fiat system and further enriching the ruling class.

Crony capitalism based on the fiat monetary system is on its way out, it's a system that requires never ending growth to avoid collapsing.
But what we need instead is not socialism or fascism. We need real free markets based on hard money like Bitcoin, without the state's interference.
Truly free markets are the most powerful super computer of all time, capable of efficientally aggregrating disparate information and assigning labor and capital where it is needed the most. As soon as you throw government and their regulations into the equation, it's as if the free market super computer has caught a virus.

ICE just spent millions on AI based social media surveillance software.
Immigrants are just the test case for the new surveillance state. Don't think for a second the state won't start using these tools on other groups as well.
If you still are using social media under your real life identity, you probably shouldn't post anything but cat pictures. You may have freedom of speech today but who knows what tomorrow will bring. Some political rant you posted 10 years ago might get you thrown in a prison camp one day.
"Oh but the constitution says"....give me a break, the constutution has failed to protect your 2nd amendment or 4th amendment rights. One day it will probably fail to protect your first amendment rights as well.
