Just comply and you'll be fine. If you have got nothing to hide, you have got nothing to worry about. For most of America's history you could easily be born, go to school, get a job, and die without the Federal Government even knowing you existed. Then the social security number arrived in 1933. At first it was a "temporary" measure to get government assistance. By the1950s you needed it to get a job. By the1970s you needed it for a bank account. Now the Federal Government is saying you need to be prepared to show proof of citzenship at anytime, anywhere. It's amazing how easily you can enslave millions of people if you just do it gradually. It's time to stop complying and opt out en masse. #privacy #optout #surveillance image
An interesting thing to add to the chart would be illegal drugs. The price of food, rent, and education has continued to rise. Yet the price of illegal drugs has decreased over the past decade while the purity has increased significantly. They want people to be numb to their enslavement. #inflation #economics chart from AdrianCercenia on X. image
We are witnessing the collapse of the fiat monetary scam in real time. How much value has flowed from fiat into #silver and #gold in a year's time? It is a number the human brain isn't even capable of understanding. I'm scared and excited at the same time. image
You need to exit the state's systems before you are locked in to them for life. We have to build out the #P2P circular economy so that you can get everything you need to survive and thrive without needing to even touch fiat currency or the white market. Have you bought anything with #Bitcoin or #Monero this week? Or sold something? Is there something you bought lately that you could of gotten with Bitcoin or Monero but didn't? If so, what held you back? Every transaction outside of the fiat monetary system helps. I have a saying next to my mirror that I either heard somewhere or made up, "Incremental progress leads to exponential results."
Thomas Massie is the rarest of rare, a politician with principles that he follows regardless of political pressure or narratives. image
Do you think the state prevents more violence than it creates? I would have to disagree. The root cause of most crime and violence is the state, and yet they want us to believe that we need the state to protect us from crime and violence? Humans have a great capacity to self organize and cooperate spontaneously without any need for a centralized authority with a monopoly on violence. There is not a single thing the state provides that can't be accomplished on a voluntary basis by private organizations and individuals. #agorism #voluntaryist #politics image
Every follower I get on #Nostr is worth ten on X. That's because I own my following on Nostr, Nostr can't freeze or ban my account and prevent me from reaching my followers. The value of that is higher than many people realize. When they do realize it, Nostr will grow exponentially.
The feds want to put a kill switch in all new cars...if your car doesn't like how you are driving it just shuts down...I have to wonder if such a kill switch will have a back door for law enforcement to shut down your car whenever they feel like it. The way things are trending, I can totally envision a future where your own car calls the cops on you and they just shut down your car to do a traffic stop. This is fucking scary and can easily be abused. Combine this with the growing network of #FLOCK cameras as well as masked thugs running around checking your papers and you have a dark future ahead. Bullish on classic cars. #privacy #cars #news
My elderly father randomly started caring about protecting his privacy on the internet and asking me questions such as if he should use a different browser like Brave or if he should turn the location off on his phone. This interest happened without any prodding from me, I had never really talked to him about online privacy and he only asked me because he knows that I have some computer skills. He is just a regular tax paying citizen. This newfound interest from him and other signs in the world at large make me think that the massive expansion in government surveillance, data leaks, and corporate data extraction and monetization has become so egregious that even regular people are feeling uncomfortable. They are waking up to the need for privacy. This is an opportunity to "expand the herd", and get more regular people to start using privacy tools. This helps normalize the use of such tools. Without regular users, the very act of using these tools can make you stand out and attract unwanted attention. If our friends or family ask us these kinds of questions about #privacy, we need to be ready to help them get their feet wet without overwhelming them. If it appears too complicated or inconvenient to protect their privacy, they may quickly lose interest. So start with the basics and work your way up. image
The average pleb has much more power to resist the coercion of the state than they realize. When plebs join together that power increases exponentially. Violent resistance is pointless, you just end up dead or in a cage. Nonviolent resistance using countereconomics, encryption, unschooling, mesh networking, countersurveillance, and other tools is much more effective. If we manage to shift control of money from the state to the people using technology such as #bitcoin and #monero , then we will start to win. But we have to actually take action and not just talk about it. It will take a lot of work, but the world will become a better place for our children. The alternative is slavery.
Is there any future for #Lightning in which the majority of people aren't using custodial wallets to access it? If not, than should it really be the main payments layer for a decentralized permissionless protocol like #Nostr ? These two systems seem to be in conflict, in my mind at least.
