WHY I POST ON NOSTR — (not that you asked) —I’m interested in underlying tech of bitcoin (dirty word: blockchain) & how it can work for artists & finances & ip. i’m fairly agnostic as to whether bitcoin succeeds or fails. even tho community is bitcoin-heavy (desperately obsessed!), i learn. —I’m interested in decentralized tech even if the word “decentralized” is overused in tech comms & misleading. majority of “de-fi” is absolutely not decentralized. i think centralized power always eventually fails & is thus a fundamental misunderstanding of how power operates. so for me spreading or locating info in dispersed, separated nodes is ultimately more resilient, clever, & longer lasting. —I am not interested in influencing or followers. I think of these as “post-it notes to the universe.” My posts may be dismissed or ignored by readers today (i don’t care) but may provide value for readers in the future.
