I've heavily used Amethyst for over two years now despite it being fidgety/laggy/crashing. I still love it, and would rarely use something else over it first. Yakihonne has been a good backup for me during those situations of frustration. Jumble through Keychat is becoming a real contender for my primary client right now though. The neat part is, I dont have to give any of them up.

Just run a fucking node and have your wallet softwares point to it for verification/broadcasting transactions.
