RAKwireless are going to be offering their SensorHub and Solar Battery Lite devices pre-flashed with Meshtastic firmware for use as router or repeater nodes. These look like they should be good well built nodes although more expensive than the DIY options.

New #meshtastic solar node deployed this morning. On the side of a hill so doesn’t have good coverage behind it but has clear line of sight in front of it and can directly reach other nodes in the CBD and hills that are about 20km away.
Printed a case for another Meshtastic mobile node today. This one is using Heltec LoRa 32 v3 module. I still need to find a suitable small battery to fit in the case but then will be a good small node that can be easily taken anywhere. #meshtastic
I’m finally able to see some other nodes thanks to a friend who I discovered has also been experimenting with Meshtastic and deployed a new node today in a location that I can reach from my house. The node is 15km away from me and the signal strength isn’t great but it works well enough to give me connectivity all the way into the CBD as well as up into the hills.
I’ve also built another solar powered node that I hope to deploy soon in a location that has clear line of sight over much of the city and should give some extra coverage.
