What do you call somebody who has saved 1 million sats? - - - - - - - - - - - Today, you can still exchange $250 to hold the value of almost a quarter million sats. Do that 4 times and you saved nearly a million satoshis, almost an entire bit. What an opportunity.

Given both my time and Bitcoin are scarce, I started tracking my dollar cost avg Bitcoin savings in hrs exchanged in the fiat mines. It provided a different perspective for me. E.g. Recent Dec ‘24/Jan ‘25 DCA comfortably temp down 15-20% in time/hrs worked, looks like a small temp sacrifice. While looking back at the same time a couple years ago, the growth in time saved = time well spent.

GM. Bitcoin is hope. Arrived for the financial incentive, Stuck around for the mission/purpose. 15yr of steady DCA saving for me grew 6.5k%. Not in Bitcoin, but in stocks/equities. While I’m proud of this fortunate record, I’m also humbled that during the same time period had I saved in Bitcoin when it was first brought to my attn (~2015), I could be retired from the fiat mine with ~33k% growth, but I overlooked it then. Still my experience is proof that hodling works. Saving via DCA, discipline, persistence, patience, gut tests, wins, mistakes and lessons. It feels like the version of tradfi that I followed (buy and hold) has been prepping me for this moment with this new and better tool, to stack and hodl in Bitcoin for a better purpose/mission, to participate and contribute not only for my kids, but for a more fair system for everybody else’s kids too. #Bitcoin is hope.
