Banning bad people's book is a disservice to society in so many levels... How are we supposed to fight something we don't even understand?

My paper I've published my last year before undergrad has 6 high impact citations. That's 6 more than I though it would have.

Who's the idiot that came up with the idea that double tap is for liking? Double tapping has always been for zooming in. I hate modern social media

Brazilian congress officially closed. To stop the opposition from scrutinize the latest orders given by Morais, the lower chamber's speaker unilaterally suspended all meetings at the house. Something unprecedented since the military government iirc Last time this happened, in 1966, the military coup was rectified and last for ~2 decades.

Every time I see someone posting pictures of theirs hands (with the palms up), I cringe a little. I might be too paranoid for social media

A 2023, 10/10 RCE CVE allowed a hacker to transfer over one billion BRL (~200m USD) to his account from different financial institutions. The whole thing went unsuspecting for DAYS before a crypto OTC desk realized something out of the ordinary and contacted the """ authorities """" Yes, that's the legacy system for ya. I can't move 10BRL of my own money without giving a thousand explanation. Some hacker could transfer billions from other's accounts and get undiscovered for days 🙄 #cybersec #plebchain #bitcoinfixesthis

Google may have to restrict it's service availability in Brazil, due to a decision by the supreme court. Brazil will join Russia, China and Iran as countries where Google is either prohibited or operates with only a few services. They aren't alone, by ending internet neutrality, all centralized social medias will be in danger. Really hope that nostr catches up from here. https://www.poder360.com.br/poder-tech/google-avalia-limitar-atuacao-no-brasil-por-mudancas-no-marco-civil/ #plebchain #brazil
