"We need to focus on our desire to be and to do rather than to have. We grow ourselves and live fulfilling lives when we contribute something that aligns with who we are and our desire to be our authentic selves."

What is worth reading?
Rationality only works when Spirituality comes first.
Rationality without Spirituality is like a sophisticated algorithm running on a computer with no user and no purpose. It generates infinite outputs that signify nothing.
Spirituality/Oneness must provide the "Vision", while Rationality/Logic are for executing the "Task"
When rationality comes first, it becomes a closed-loop feedback system:
It starts optimizing everything for its own sake.
It leads to the modern Crisis of Meaning.
It creates "smart" people doing stupid things.
If you find yourself over-analyzing (rationality) but feeling unfulfilled (lack of spirituality), you are trying to use a calculator to write a poem.
If you want to create a joyful life: spirituality must come FIRST. It is the realization that you are the Awareness. You are part of God, part of everything. Oneness.
Rationality must come SECOND, it is the creation engine to logically steer your focus towards your vision.
Hello Nostr, X is down while my subscription ran out. Perfect. But I don't want to post into the void on Nostr. How do you solve this chicken egg problem?
Few thoughts. IRAN controls a stretch of water 29 miles wide thorugh which 20% of global oil go; currently oil is at $65/barrell.
Iran is now cornered and protesting internally. It has the legit capability to disrupt the transit through the strait of hormuz for weeks.
- 20mn barrells of oil flow through Hormoz daily (20% of global consumption)
- the bypass capacity via pipelines in Saudi Arabia and UAE is roughly 2.6mn b/d
Do the math: Hormuz throughput minus bypass capacity.
Europe gets ±10% of its LNG through that strait. Italy alone sources 45% of its LNG from Qatar. It will require expensive alternative that do not exist at scale.
Germany's chemical and auto sectors (margins already razor thin or negative) will face immediate shutdowns when energy costs spike (only) 80% to 120%.
Even a partial Hormuz disruption will suffice to push Eurozone GDP negative 2-3% within two quarters.
The market refuses to price this 17mn barell gap - either the market is right or bankrupt...
What now?
CEOs: tomorrow morning model 2-3x energy input costs scenarios against margins. Any M&A activity must stress-test target's energy cost sensitivity. Tail hedges are historically cheap and directionally confident.
Note: geopolitical uncertainty. DYOR
A minority of Americans seems to be in a kind of psychosis. The ICE incidence, the hubris following the Maduro kidnapping; Greenland, Cuba, Colombia, Mexico, Russia, Iran, China, Europe, Panama Canal, Canada, tariff bombs, capturing the Russian-flag ship... civil war, world war? Not orderly Americans but a minority of people who apparently turned lunatic. The problem is the minority rule applies. I mean, I hope I am wrong. I'm only observing right now from a tiny island in the ocean.
Is there a way to reliably cross-post between WordPress, X, Farcaster, Nostr, Paragraph, LinkedIn or do I really need to do this manually? Is anyone solving this problem?
My son found this leaf. Why do I find it so absolutely fascinatingly beautiful?

Good morning, dusty day with Calima. Enjoy it nevertheless.

Cities preach climate action while forcing us drivers to burn fuel hunting for parking like idiots. The CO₂ from circling the block five, six, seven times a day is pure policy-made waste. Build parking. Stop the hypocrisy.
That Primal is down because they use Cloudflare is an insult to Nostr
Everyone is finally realizing what projects are actually useful and important? 30d%: ZANO UP, Bitcoin Cash UP, Dash UP, ZCash UP, Monero UP, basically everything else DOWN
Notes on Dan Peña's November 2025 "Arrival Night" talk:
- The existing identity is the primary obstacle to success
- The obvious advice is to be focused and work hard
Principle 1: Identity Annihilation
- The current self is incapable of high performance
- True success doesn’t come from motivating your current self but from annihilating the current identity that produces excuses, seeks external validation, and rationalizes “half-assed” efforts
Principle 2: Commitment
- Reject “trying” and any part-time effort
- You don’t just need “focus” but an absolute and exclusionary commitment
- High-peformance is ergo not defined by what you do but what you are willing to exclude
Principle 3: Learning ≠ Consumption
- Those who take the most notes and ask the least amount of questions succeed the most
- Which means: “infantile” questions demonstrates the failure to ingest the system. Accept the system before processing.
- Mechanism:
1. Ingest: Take “copious notes”
2. Process: go home and “rewrite” them
3. Re-Assemble: “put them in some semblance of order”
Principle 4: Accountability
- Reject ALL forms of justification
- All excuses, even valid ones, are irrelevant to objective outcome. Success requires a system that mirrors this objective reality.
- Mechanism: Weekly report, that must be done daily because memory is unreliable
- Binary: Yes or no questions
- No justification: If you use the word “But” in an answer = the answer is NO
- NO means “I cunted out” = confrontation with the failure, non-negotiable language, preventing “I had a good reason” as self-deception and excuse
- Result: system of radical self-honesty against a set of non-negotiable processes
Core:
Current identity, learning habits, and accountability methods are the main reason for failure. They must be annihilated and replaced with this specific, rigid, and ruthless QLA operating system.
We talked a lot about how social algorithms are designed to make addicted. But when are we having the honest conversation that AI is optimized for engagement and satisfaction? When a user asks AI, it will provide a helpful and satisfying answer. EVEN IF the helpful response should be: "you should do the work or make the decision yourself". Today's generative AI chats are apparently designed to offload cognitive load, not to build cognitive capacity. This makes the entire relationship with AI addictive and thereby toxic.
No matter how much I want to be productive past 9PM (after kids fall asleep) it seems like an impossibility. When I compare it to early mornings, perhaps I'm with caffeine and nicotine at 15%. Today is my last day in bed past 9.30PM.
