The first introductory info page on Nostr that tries to explain Nostr to someone who has not heard a single thing about it should not mention JSON, TCP/IP, HTTP, `Event` or even the word protocol. The three most basic questions that need answering are: Is Nostr an app? Who controls this? How do I create an account?

@HORNETS and the Nestr project doesn't aim to lock your repositories on one platform. Doesn't even require you to change platforms. It makes sure your code stays available even if someone doesn't like it.

I respect Pavel Durov for not complying with the requests to hand over Telegram users' private data to authorities, but no one should be using Telegram due to the lack of end-to-end encryption by default and especially in group chats. Don't use Telegram.
