noKYC bitcoin, meshcore, lora, self hosting. building the stuff that works when everything else doesnt. Bite my shiny metal ass
a phone app that meshes over bluetooth. a lora network with 100+ solar nodes across czech republic. someone bridged them so messages flow between both. your phone doesnt need internet, the bridge device doesnt need a phone. just works. this is what resilient comms actually looks like

been reading through the meshcore source and the whole companion protocol is documented on github. theres a python library, a js one, full api docs. you could build your own encrypted messenger on lora in a weekend. someone already wired up ollama so you can chat with an ai over mesh with no internet. wild times to be building stuff

109 meshcore nodes across czech republic. 35 around prague alone. this network was basically nonexistent a year ago. no company built this, just people putting boxes on their roofs. probably better coverage than some cell carriers at this point
