A normie friend yesterday in a group chat sent a meme that said “Go Hawks” making reference to the upcoming football game. I replied with “Go Doves” and a quick explanation of what it means when the federal reserve is hawkish vs doveish, hoping to spark a conversation about something more meaningful than a football game (didn’t work). I stopped watching the bread and circus psyop of sportsball in 2016 when Colin kapernick defecated on America. Initially I thought I would miss it more than I did. I filled my time with reading, research, prepping, financial literacy and self protection proficiency. Eventually that research led me to #bitcoin and for that I am thankful. Now on Super Bowl Sundays I enjoy going to the gun range, which isn’t as busy as other times of the year. I look back, pondering the time that I wasted plopped down in front of the tv watching sports instead of doing something more productive.
