A normie friend yesterday in a group chat sent a meme that said “Go Hawks” making reference to the upcoming football game. I replied with “Go Doves” and a quick explanation of what it means when the federal reserve is hawkish vs doveish, hoping to spark a conversation about something more meaningful than a football game (didn’t work). I stopped watching the bread and circus psyop of sportsball in 2016 when Colin kapernick defecated on America. Initially I thought I would miss it more than I did. I filled my time with reading, research, prepping, financial literacy and self protection proficiency. Eventually that research led me to #bitcoin and for that I am thankful. Now on Super Bowl Sundays I enjoy going to the gun range, which isn’t as busy as other times of the year. I look back, pondering the time that I wasted plopped down in front of the tv watching sports instead of doing something more productive. Pass this note on if you feel others may benefit from this line of thinking. Anyways, if someone is contemplating doing the same, this is that gentle nudge and maybe I’ll see you on the range.
