The Twitter Files revealed that the Biden White House would email Twitter trust and safety, “requesting” specific tweets and accounts to take down. The left buried their heads in the sand, pretended like the Twitter Files never happened, and moved on. Nostr fixes this.

The devs don’t want you to know, but fees are still 1-2sat/vb and you can just use onchain txs.
In hindsight, segwit and taproot were extremely hasty and probably even unnecessary. Fees would probably still be fine without them and right now instead of this opreturn bs, we could have spent the last 10 years working with what we had and dialing in an even better soft fork, which may not have even been necessary at all.
Now that any kind of soft fork upgrade is completely impossible for a while, we can focus on working with what’s available. Just one example, getting #payjoin into every wallet. Chainalysis will go bankrupt and we can shut up privacy fudsters. There’s so much more that can be built and adopted, even with what we have to work with right now.
@Saifedean Ammous Another great lecture

This is why we don’t forget.

Michael Scott would do a better job at all these government positions. At least he’s not pure evil.
