Listening to old podcasts is a trip. 3.5 years ago, when I first listened to this series, I took almost everything at face value. Now after 3.5 more years of study, I have more disagreements about theory, definitions, and subtext. It’s still my favorite series though, which I highly recommend.

Nostr currently has ~14k-32k users. It’s great being here with the freaks. There isn’t as much pressure to be an influencer. You’re free to be more genuine and weird. There’s probably extreme alpha here too, but people from the outside wouldn’t even think to look. Everyone is so radically individualistic that much of what’s said here wouldn’t compute to a collectivist, polite-society outsider.
