You don’t need to abolish/ban TSA, just privatize it. IIRC some nations have privatized TSA because airports, airlines, and passengers still demand some kind of security screening. Let the free market decide.

“In great empires, the people who live in the capital, and in the provinces remote from the scene of action, feel, many of them, scarce any inconveniency from the war, but enjoy, at their ease, the amusement of reading in the newspapers the exploits of their own fleets and armies. To them this amusement compensates the small difference between the taxes which they pay on account of the war, and those which they had been accustomed to pay in time of peace.” This section doesn’t even apply to the situation anymore, which tells you that it’s the end of empire. The only caveat is that a major homeland (false flag) attack could evoke extreme unity and faith in empire. Strength through unity Unity through faith image

I’ll throw this grenade into the spam debate beehive: Why hasn’t anyone talked about Taproot Assets in years? All the “tokenization” that’s so hot right now could be done on Bitcoin… image

It appears that clawbot is already capable of holding and spending Bitcoin. Also holding NSECs. But is it just custodial LN? Are they holding UTXOs? Unless I’m misremembering, which I very well could be, Knut said many times that AI’s will never be able to hold Bitcoin private keys. That definitely could be a Strawman, but I’d really have to dig through all his podcasts over the years to find the several times when he talked about it. Would love some clarity. View quoted note →
