Bitcoin zealot 🐝 Who’s going to buy the bonds? #GIABO
@Matthew Kratter In your Bitcoin Matrix pod with Cedric, several times you said that ~500 out of 100k nodes signaled for BIP148. I thought that sounded off, so after looking into it, it’s more like 500-1000 nodes out of 5,000-7,000 total nodes. Which makes more sense because there are barely 100,000 nodes today, 9 years later. It’s important because 0.5% of nodes is definitely not enough for a UASF to work. Based on those numbers, the % of BIP148 nodes ranged from 7%-20%.
Congratulations, you found the game theoretically optimal influencer position to protect yourself: be against spam and for Bitcoin as money, like BIP110’s ethos and most of what it does, but still not support it. BIP110 wins: it’ll look like you supported it BIP110 loses or causes problems: it’ll look like you didn’t support it If not now, when? If not us, who? View quoted note →
“I don’t believe it is likely that the One Ring could be taken to Mordor and cast into Mount Doom, which is why I don’t support the plan at this point.”
Bottom isn’t in until my demented relative tells me that the CEO of Bitcoin (Saylor) is going bankrupt, like she did in 2022. Steady lads 🫡
You’re fed up with the discourse from both sides because action is long overdue. You shilled taproot, then core did nothing to fix the exploits, even shot down proposed solutions, either out of apathy or perverse incentives. You’ve been gaslighting everyone for years to keep the peace with your influencer and dev peers as everyone has to deal with a spam attack. Then you want to try to be “above it all” and scramble for the middle ground so you get to stay in the influencer club for connections? Fuck you. Get culled. Should’ve stacked harder. Go to LinkedIn where you belong and find a new industry, you fake fucks.
“Even though I really don’t like spam, I can’t define spam, but even if I could define it, it doesn’t matter because you can’t stop it, but even if someone tries to stop some of it, I don’t like how they’re going about it, but I won’t propose an alternative method except what we’ve been doing that isn’t working at all, but even if I did propose another method, it doesn’t matter because theoretically at some undetermined-point-in-the-future spam might not be a problem… …but I still want you to know I really don’t like spam and Bitcoin is money.” 🤡🤡🤡 cull the influencers, it’s overdue. Most of you are overripe, over-connected cowards who need to find a career in another industry.
