I really wish I took his advice. Continually grateful for all the scammers and bad actors who are finally revealing themselves.

“Just run a pruned node.”

“Harm reduction” is the kind of suicidal feminism that ruins a state like California.
It’s not necessarily that they have a distorted understanding of Bitcoin, but rather a distorted understanding of natural law. The same kind of understanding that destroyed where many of them are from, San Francisco.
Miners are under no obligation to include specific transactions into a block. Always has been.
Said differently, you can’t coerce a miner into including a specific transaction into a block. Miners excluding specific transactions from a block is not censorship because Bitcoin is voluntary all the way down. Always has been.
Some of these devs need to get this NorCal rot out of their brain. They’d coerce miners into *including* all transactions into their block. They want to turn Bitcoin into San Francisco.
Part of the problem is that some devs, to save face, won’t admit that their support for taproot was a mistake. Generally, devs want more features. Everybody else just wants sound money with only as many features as *absolutely necessary*.
