Yesterday we sang our Christmas concert and it was the perfect start to the Christmas season in music. Rutter's Gloria along with a collection of carols. It got me to thinking though. It is quite rare in this modern age that I get surprised by snow but today was that day. like the years of yore (my childhood), I had absolutely no clue it was going to be cold enough for a dusting. (I know you northerners don't even think this is snow.) But ignorant I was. So, this is a shot of my morning coffee in front of my garden bed, un-freaking-covered, after getting up and seeing snow.
