Just tried to onboard a friend of mine to #nostr, but it’s still so complicated… What happened to easy zapping with alby btw? Does everyone need to setup an alby hub now? So you can’t get zaps without investing 150$ to open a #lightning channel? Or ist there still an easier way?

Back in Nostr again! I jumped in and out to see what happened in the meantime, this time a lot of stuff happened and I love it. Great to see that Nostr is growing! I found out that Lume isn't the best choice for desktop anymore. The UX feels completely broken. Really sad, because I really liked lume. I'm using noStrudel now and I love it! For the nsec signing I'm using the "Nostr connect" browser extension now, its amazing. Still missing an nsec signer for iOS though...

I found an iMac G3 on the street and try to bring it to life again. Replaced the broken HDD with an SSD, fixed the dvd rom drive and now I try to burn a bootable Mac OS CD. It’s super annoying and super fun at the same time 🥲
