I shared on my IG that my soon to be husband did my taxes for me, without me asking and made sure that it was fully taken care of and how INCREDIBLE that felt (shoutout to @BTC624 ) and someone commented : “But aren’t you independent…” I said “‘nope - very much dependent” Culture has told us that depending on our men was somehow “dangerous” or “unsafe”. I believed it for a long time. I THRIVED off of being “independent and strong” But internally I was tired and fed up. Men have a strong desire to protect and provide. It’s part of Gods perfect design and when we don’t depend on them, We robe ourselves, AND THEM, of the opportunity to fulfill our divine purpose and live according to our perfect design that our Creator has given us.

Feminism propaganda sold women this: “You’ll be free, fulfilled, and powerful if you reject God’s design, put career and independence first, and don’t need a man or family.” But from a biblical lens, that promise flips the truth - because when you step outside God’s order, you don’t find freedom, you often end up overworked, disconnected, and still searching for the peace that only comes from living aligned with Him. Most women these days? They are striving, overworked, disconnected, still searching for peace and often resentful. The answer? I was in New Age Spirituality for 18 years. My mom brought us to psychic therapists when we were young teens to “help us cope” with divorce trauma and massive life changes. I grew up with it and after some of the darkest times of my life & massive growth, I made it my work for nearly 8 years. New Age was not a trend like it is today. We were the “woo woo” ones. Energy healing, frequencies, manifestations, witchcraft - we’re all taboo. Now it’s wide in the open.. accepted, rewarded, sold you’re seen as someone who “knows the truth” - as someone who cares about being spiritual. Until you read the Bible. Until you meet Him. Until the counterfeit power doesn’t work anymore because it was never meant to last. It’s a counterfeit for a reason. God told me to close my business May 2025. I didn’t know why. End of June 2025, I gave my life to Christ and He lifted the veil. I couldn’t believe how deceitful New Age was. I was in deep grief for an industry I loved for so long that all of a sudden I saw clearly; how the enemy made it his perfect trap for the vulnerable. “There shall not be found among you anyone who… practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer… For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord.”
— Deuteronomy 18:10–12 God clearly warns against seeking power, guidance, or knowledge from any spiritual source outside of Him. Here’s what that looks like today: • Sacrificing children → Not always literal, but the same root shows up when success, identity, or belief systems come before the well-being of your children • Fortune-telling → Tarot cards, oracle decks, psychic readings to “see your future” • Sorcery → Manifestation rituals, moon rituals, using substances or practices to access spiritual realms or control outcomes • Interpreting omens → Angel numbers (like 11:11), “signs from the universe” guiding your decisions • Witchcraft → Spellwork, “white magic,” identifying as a modern witch, energy manipulation • Casting spells → Speaking things “into existence,” scripting or affirmations meant to create reality • Mediums / psychics → Channeling, spirit guides, receiving messages from unseen spiritual sources • Calling forth the dead → Attempting to contact deceased loved ones, séances, spirit boards This isn’t something to take lightly and It’s not something that’s religious. God told us this, in his living Word, for a reason. God is our designer, our Creator He knows us better than we know ourselves. This is ALL to protect us, to guide us, to love us. He warns us about this because He knows the severe consequences on our souls and spirits. Ephesians 6:12 “for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark word and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places” We all know something is off. We know the world is corrupt. We can feel the emptiness in our souls that’s why we search and search and search because we’re thirsty. But there’s only one that can quench our thirst… “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him, will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring water welling up to eternal life” John 4:13-14 Turn away from new age. Go to Him with a humble heart.
