I just finished the book “Metro 2033” by Dimitry #Glukhovsky and all the time I thought… hopefully this is not a prophecy.

I started learning the #dvorak keyboard layout a few days ago. I am fast at typing #qwertz/#qwerty but I want to get faster. What fascinates me is what goes on in my brain. How does it switch from one scheme to another so quickly? Why can I already type in dvorak even without thinking about it? All the keys have their place on the keyboard in my brain since so many years but it's amazingly easy to just switch. Is it stored in separate neuronal structures or why does it work anyway? I expected to type the wrong keys all the time but it's not like that. Our brains are awesome.

Sometimes I have these rate moments when I can put myself in the shoes of someone who has no idea how #Bitcoin works. Then I try to understand what someone would have to say to me to make a successful “inception” into my brain so that I would start to dig into the topic. I heard about #Bitcoin long before I started my journey but why didn’t I care? My goal is the perfect elevator pitch.

I think an IT company should indicate in their job advertisements whether they put opening brackets on a new line in the code (the "right" way of course) or at the end of the line. Having to work with the “wrong” way for years gets me down. #coding #codingconventions
