Why US Debt Is Unsustainable and Destroying the Middle Class - Opinion The state basically conducts a process of slow default on the economy through rising taxes and weakening the purchasing power of the currency, which leads to weaker growth and the erosion of the middle class, the captive hostages of the currency issuer. Artificial currency creation is never neutral. It disproportionately benefits the first recipient of the new currency—the government—and massively hurts the last recipients—real wage earners and people with deposit savings. It is a massive transfer of wealth from the productive economy and savers to the bureaucratic administration.

It’s Official: Reflation Is Here - Opinion A look at the current inflation data reveals an upward trajectory, even from last summer. The total loss of purchasing power in three years is easily 20 percent, but probably closer to 30 percent or more. And that’s just from the official data, which are highly manipulated by messing up the pricing of housing and health insurance while excluding the cost of borrowing entirely. Adding those easily gets us back to double digits and perhaps exceeding what we experienced in 1979–1980, especially once you consider the sheer longevity of this mess.

Pfizer and a Corruption Too Deep to Fix - Opinion What we have in operation here is a form of vampiric capitalism, an entire industry that has colonized our health and bodies in the interest of wealth extraction even though its products do not work and actually make us more sick, providing more opportunities to innovate products that do more of the same. It’s time that this system came to an end, but where is the crime commission to investigate and stop it? It doesn’t exist. That’s the great dilemma of our time.

In other words, Trump is only supportive of state rights so long as the State allows a “reasonable” amount of time to murder babies: Trump Says He Wouldn’t Sign Federal Abortion Ban If Reelected - Epoch Times New York he was asked if the Arizona Supreme Court “went too far” in allowing a Civil War-era abortion ban to be enforced in the state. “Yeah, they did, and that’ll be straightened out,” President Trump said. “As you know, it’s all about states’ rights. That’ll be straightened out, and I’m sure that the governor and everybody else are going to bring it back into reason, and that will be taken care of, I think, very quickly.”

As with Trump, abortion is not a moral issue for her, only a political calculation: After Arizona Supreme Court ruling, Kari Lake denounces near-total abortion ban she once supported In that statement, Lake also repeated her opposition to a federal ban on abortions. That position aligns with that of former President Donald Trump, who previously said he would consider supporting a 15-week federal abortion ban.

Fiscal Collapse Accelerates - Opinion In case you thought anybody in Washington was driving this thing, they are not. It’s official: The Department of Treasury is now issuing debt at pandemic levels. It’s worth noting that the pandemic record was double the previous record, which had stood for 231 years. The latest numbers for the fourth quarter of 2023 show that the Treasury issued $7 trillion in new debt. For the entire year, it came to $23 trillion. At this point, federal debt is rising by $1 trillion every 90 days, and U.S. government spending as a percent of gross domestic product is at World War II levels. At this point, there is nothing standing between us and fiscal collapse. The only question is when.
