Inspiration hides in plain sight. A glance. A whisper. The weight of silence. People move. They laugh. They cry. Each moment holds a story. Remember your own. The ache of loss. The warmth of a smile. The ordinary is rich. A child plays. Rain falls. Shadows stretch. Keep a journal. Capture the fleeting. Words on a page. Connect with others. Listen. Their tales can ignite yours. Look closely. The world breathes stories. Find them. Write them. #writing #inspiration
Hey Nostr, Who should I be following? Who do you think would enjoy The Fiction Factory? #asknostr #grownostr
Perfection lies. Ideas kept hostage. Progress held back. And for what? An unrealistic ideal. Whose ideal? Yours? Theirs? No one knows what will work or what will be a success. How can an idea succeed if it doesn’t exist? Perfection falsifies beginnings. Just start. Embrace the sloppiness. Enter the unknown. Let go. Don’t think. Do. An idea realized—if even done poorly—is a success.
I write because I must. It's what I do. It's my nature. Will it make an audience? I don't know. Will it make money? No idea. I just write. It's all I know how to do.
Freedom and privacy. Hand and glove. They fit together. Freedom from coercion. From violence. From extortion. Privacy grants that. Privacy is consent. You share what you want. When you want. How you want. You've agreed to share, freely. Of you're own will. If privacy disappears, freedom's not far behind. Imagine. Everyone, observed. Monitored. Scrutinized. Look to now. Mainstream social media. Eyes on everyone. All the time. Cancel culture curbs behavior. Every word, measured. Every decision, compromised. Coercion in our actions. When it's gone, is there a way back?
Art's a mirror. It imitates life. Story's an artform. It's how we learn. Learn about life. About being. It's reflects us. Who we are. What we want to become. I get inspired talking to friends. Scrolling feeds. People watching. I ask a question. Explore it through story. It shows me something. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Don't look away. Reflect. Write. Show, don't tell. What moment in life screams story to you?

I have no idea what I'm doing. I got plans. Got ideas. Goals. Operate on gut and grit. But, I have no idea how things will turn out. Can't control outcomes. No one can. Future's unknown. Value's subjective. Markets don't know what they want until someone makes it. In my field, the money people needed certainty in an uncertain world. Promise the future. Get failure. Money turns ash. In the business of taste, instinct makes profit. If you want something meaningful that is. Trust your gut. You can focus group your ideas. Get people around. Get feedback. Deliver mediocrity. Or, trust your gut. Feel it out. Sense what's real. Price sends signals. Someone buys it, it's good. Keep doing. Follow the signal. Let go of plans. Plans are just roadmaps. A guide. It's great to follow. Even more fun to take side roads. Screw 'em. Burn them. Caution to the wind. Make because you must. Because you can. Someone will value it. Enjoy the journey. The process of creating, that's the money. The pay off. You and your will. Making it happen. That's a sure thing. Even in the uncertainty.
Economics is everything. Like gravity, it rules us. It examines us. Observes our choices. Scrutinizes our actions. It's everywhere and nowhere. The invisible hand. Pushing. Pulling. Ever present. Yet, we know so little about it. Economics tells a story. Humans in action. How it's told, that's the trick. More often than not, it's boring. Drab. Academic. Men in suits, talking. Charts. Graphs. Predictions. Dry on the outside, informative inside. A story ripe for plucking. That's my attempt: to write human stories with an economic frame. Subtle like a summer breeze. Strong like whiskey Saturdays. Then there's Bitcoin. A new chapter. Challenging the old. Shaping the new. But it needs better content. Its story needs telling—telling in a way that's human. Let’s start.
