I’m always surprised when the trails are empty. It’s peaceful and I’m grateful, it feels like luxury. Strange to drive by crowded Starbucks and freeway traffic on the way. The juxtaposition feels like a bizarre glitch and like I somehow found the cheat code.

Are people genuinely questioning whether the earth is round? The fucking Greeks figured this out with two sticks and a shadow 2,000 years ago. Surely in 2026 we can wrap this up.
