Every time I post positively about Nostr on X it’s crickets. Zero response. But the minute I complain and say Nostr is “failing miserably” I get a ton of engagement and even a response from @npub1trr5...hdpu The algorithm on X is designed for negativity. I don’t think Nostr is failing miserably, I understand it’s a platform not a protocol, and this little experiment is proof that we need Nostr more than ever.

I made a post today and someone commented with extremely vulgar language. Is there no way to delete or remove it from the thread? I reported the user and the post. Just kinda sucks you can’t straight up block other people from commenting on your posts… That’s going to be a big problem as Nostr scales

@primal I’m having issues making posts and opening notifications. Is there a known issue or is it potentially on my end? Maybe related to my WiFi or something

If we don’t exercise our rights then how do we expect to keep them? During the insanity of the lockdowns when there were roving gangs of looters and rioters in the streets… I asked myself if I ever needed a firearm and I didn’t have one, could I ever forgive myself? The answer was an obvious NO. Self custody of Bitcoin is important for the same reason. Sure, the banking system might remain stable for the rest of my lifetime, but if there was ever a day where it wasn’t, I could never forgive myself for outsourcing my safety or my financial security.

If you are a critical thinker on a lifelong education journey, there is 100% certainty your opinions and how you articulate what you believe will change over time. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t share your current perspectives. Just don’t get too attached to them.

I think we are about to see a massive resurgence in Bitcoin culture. Not because of price. Not because of treasury companies or nation states… But because there is an idea whose time has come, bitcoin physics. It’s going to be hard even for the most intelligent bitcoiners to grasp it, but that’s okay. After all, bitcoin is more of an ego test than an IQ test. We all went through a period of time where we didn’t “get it.” My encouragement is to keep an open mind and explore the paper written by @npub18384...aslh and @PlebNick Podcast with @Efrat Fenigson is in post production and will be published in the coming weeks. It’s a must-listen.

Still processing the experiences and conversations from @Camp Nakamoto All I can say right now is that my curiosity to learn more and passion for Bitcoin continue to evolve and grow.

So happy to spend 4 days on Sandy Island surrounded by optimistic, curious, action oriented bitcoiners.
