Lost a friend last week. Raymond was 96. Still driving although never over 35 mph. He would go fishing nearly every day at the boat launch. I would ride my bike down there just to see if he was catching anything. No sadness. 96 fishing one day gone the next. Doesn't get much better than that. RIP old friend.

Still can't believe Cold Card had 4 or 5 devs and nostr influences recommended them as gold standard. What wallet is least recommended? I will look into it first.

Do you own research. Gamble where your feel you have the best odds or where your heart is. It's all a gamble. Be prepared to loose. Trying to stay off nostr is hard. Social crack.

The fact that Bitcoin hasn't tanked tells just how few people self custody Bitcoin. Only true bitcoiners are affected. Peace of mind is gone. Soul searching.

After FTX, get your bitcoin into cold storage! After Coldcrap, your safer on an exchange. People using FTX eventually got 120% back in usd. Hope people that lost funds on Coldcrap, the 'gold standard', get made whole somehow.

I must admit that some of the hope Bitcoin gave me is gone. That sucks. Can't go through life never trusting anyone or anything. I can't verify code nor do I want to spend precious time trying. So I will diversify into things I am comfortable with. Bitcoin will still be in there. How much is the question. Nostr has introduced me to some wonderful people. I'm grateful 🙏 There is much more to life than bitcoin like touching grass. Keep thinking, laughing, and loving. It's a short ride. ✌️💜🫂

For us plebs Bitcoin in cold storage has gone from fuck you money to you're fucked money. Damn! Thinking about getting a Bitkey as additional wallet and just holding on to what I got in several wallets. This is getting to stressful and I'm getting old. Don't think I need to remind anyone about being humble. ✌️💜🫂

Wow. Scary. For me this is worse than FTX. Until Bitcoin is less complicated for plebs, it going to be a slow go for adoption. For me, don't put all your eggs in one basket applies here. Have multiple cold storage wallets. Have a diversity of investments. Enjoy life because it's short. Truly sorry for those effected.
