I wish I had this much energy to jump out of bed in the morning when my alarm clock goes off. image
It was a frosty morning move, and the sheep love it. Fresh icy grass popsicles.
Giving the sheep some garlic juice to help with parasite prevention since we don’t worm our sheep. Then showing the sheep some love. Talk about garlic breath!
Sriracha mayonnaise - with first six ingredients add 1 clove garlic, mashed, 2 Tbsp sriracha, 2 Tbsp lime juice, and an additional 1/4 tsp salt. Chipotle lime mayonnaise - replace 1 Tbsp lemon juice with 1 Tbsp lime juice, with first six ingredients add 1 clove garlic, mashed, 1/4-1/2 can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, 2 limes juiced and zested, and an additional 1/4 tsp salt.
You learn something new all the time in farming. Our livestock guardian dogs got stuck together having sex yesterday. (No picture included with this post.) I didn’t even know that could happen, but apparently it can. I had the dogs separate to keep them from breeding. While moving the sheep and chickens to fresh pasture, the male ducked under the fence and found our female. I tried to get him to go back to where he was but the dogs were stuck together. I called my vet tech neighbor and she said yes that can happen with dogs. The remedy is to hold them still until the male can relax and then they’ll come apart. So that’s what I did and 10-15 minutes later, poof, no more Siamese dogs. It was a weird morning.
