Texas sunsets just hit differently 🌅 Fresh beginnings on the horizon…

GM beautiful people! This past week was a wild ride! Moved everything off of the airbase for our ice cream and hotdog restaurant (Licks & Links) and back to our original location. Just as we were leaving the base, I received a call from a Sargent with our police department. He asked if anyone had tried to get in touch with me about my motorcycle. I said no sir and he said, ‘well, we’ve had it since May 20th of last year and it’s in the police impound lot!!” What?! I reported it stolen on May 17th of last year and they recovered it 3 days later and called me 11 months later?! 😳😂 He went on to say that the guy who stole it dropped it, someone called the police who then picked it up and another guy came with a trailer to try and claim it with no title or anything so they impounded it. This was also the same time all the computers were hacked and our PD had no computers so he said it must have gotten lost in the system. He was doing inventory at the impound lot the other day and mine popped up as stolen and, well, the rest is history…oh, but he said if I didn’t pick it up by 4 pm then I would be charged a fee for storage 🤨 So, went there Friday to pick it up but didn’t recognize it at first as the person who stole it, obviously, repainted it! I also happened to be wearing the same colors as what my bike used to look like when I picked it up 🤣 Good things happening all around!!
