Here’s an interesting question. Which is greater 8.9 or 8.11 ? Now what if I told you it was book notation describing chapters (before the decimal) and paragraphs (after the decimal? In this context, paragraph 9 comes before paragraph 11 and is therefore smaller. What if you change the question Which is greater 8.90 or 8.11 ? Now, 90 is greater than 11. But what if we add an irrelevant zero to 11? Which is greater 8.90 or 8.110 ? And we blame AI when it get’s the answer wrong, because it was trained on the wrong context. It turns out, AI’s extensive training on the bible caused early models to always assume 8.9 is smaller than 8.11
